Verse 3:
Secure is life from mortal mind,
God holds the germ within His hand,
Tho' men may search, they cannot find,
for God alone does understand.
Van had a good chat with a bone marrow doc, and he underscored that a transplant is a work of God. The verse above hit home for both Van and I this morning at church. It helps to take some of the angst of the decision to remember that God is the giver of life.
Zane's ear tube procedure is tomorrow at 6:15. Please pray that he will feel at ease and that his discomfort will be relieved. His confused big brother keeps telling him that the doctors are going to cut his ear and sew him up. Zane doesn't seem to mind this as long as he can have gum and a balloon.

I'll be praying for Zane in the morning. We just did this last month. Saul did fine except for the 15 minutes postop when he was still kind of out of it and upset. By the time we got in the car to come home he was fine. :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll keep Zane and the two of you in our prayers. I know how awful ear infections can be (suffered with them as a child a LOT).
ReplyDeleteWe'll also keep praying about all other things, including healing from the Great Physician, peace that surpasses all understanding, and strength from our glorious ALL MIGHTY (misspelled on purpose) God!
